NOTE: Grayed-out prompts are those I find personally find either boring, unworkable, or uninspiring. However, if you have a particular idea for a grayed-out prompt that you think would work really well with our characters, I'd be willing to listen & give it a try!

I'm going to do my best to make sure they're actually drabble-length--that is, 100 words. Failing that I'd at least like them to be multiples (200, 300, etc.).

So, yeah. Let's see how far I get.
Officially back at my apartment! For a while I was on the edge of whether or not I ought to take classes this semester, but since the school is still paying for it and I don't have to take more than nine hours, I'm going to give it a shot. My arms still hurt me a lot sometimes, but the pain is much better than it was before and I have better ways to manage it now. Being at school means I have to write another 50,000 word novel this semester, but since I only have class two nights a week I really do think I can handle it. God, I hope I can handle it.

Maybe getting back into RP isn't a good idea considering how much I have to write this semester already, but I'm so excited about starting up again that I can't force myself to think about giving it up again. I'll find a way to make it work. Staying away from structured games should be a big help, and if I can force myself to be moderate on Plurk then my hands shouldn't suffer too badly.

After this semester, who knows. I probably won't have a job waiting for me in the summer, but then again, if I really enjoy this semester then I might consider finishing up my master's degree. TV writing is probably just a pipe dream, but to even consider it I would definitely need a master's. And it can't hurt otherwise...unless it turns out to be one of those things where they won't hire you if you're overqualified. Not that being underqualified is really much help either considering how few jobs are available.

For now, I've got things worked out and I'm happy. I can't remember the last time I've really looked forward to a semester—and honestly, being able to RP again is a big part of that. I missed this more than I realized.
